We come out, template your countertop with digital lasers, capture sink/cooktop cutouts, and confirm seam placement. 1-2 day turnaround on the template.

STEP 2

Fabricate in NEO

Your slab is cut, edged, and finished at our fabrication partner. Typical fabrication: 5-10 business days depending on stone type and edge profile.

STEP 3

Deliver + Install

One-day install for most kitchens. We disconnect/reconnect plumbing for the sink, seal the seams, and clean up. You’re cooking on it that night.

Granite vs quartz — which should I pick?

Granite is natural stone, slightly cheaper, unique veining on every slab, needs occasional sealing. Quartz is engineered, uniform pattern, no sealing, more scratch-resistant. For kitchens with heavy use, most NEO buyers go quartz. For dramatic veining or budget jobs, granite wins.

How long from template to installed?

Typical timeline: template in 1-2 days, fabricate 5-10 business days, install 1 day. End-to-end most jobs finish inside 7-14 days. Custom edge profiles or non-stock colors can extend fabrication.

Do you handle the sink and faucet?

Yes — we disconnect plumbing before install and reconnect after. Bring your own sink/faucet or pick from our showroom. Undermount sinks add a day to fabrication for the cutout.

Can I see the actual slab before it’s cut?

Yes. Walk into our Akron showroom and pick the exact slab — natural stone has unique patterns and you should approve the slab you’re getting before fabrication starts.

Is butcher block a good option for kitchens?

It is for the right buyer. Pros: warm look, easy to repair, ~$30-50/sq ft installed. Cons: needs regular oiling, scratches and water-stains if neglected. Great on islands, less great around sinks. We stock it for projects that want it.

Do you offer countertop install only — if I source the slab elsewhere?

Sometimes. We’ll review the slab supplier and dimensions. Most of our pricing assumes we source the stone, which is where the volume discount lives. Reach out with details.
